All right, so as some of you may know, around February of '07, a tragedy struck. My collection of over 100 manga got destroyed in a basement flood.

I am not ashamed to say I cried.

After threatening the lives of the people who had built the basement, they coughed up around 1,000 dollars. Fair enough, however, my dad refused to allow me to buy back all of the manga I lost because he viewed it as a waste of time. Pissed off? Ohhhh yeah.

But a year later, I began looking at art on Deviant Art and noticed how much I liked Copic work. After sitting down and discussing with my father that Copics would help to improve my work, he agreed to use the 'Manga money' to buy me Copic markers. I hope to start off with a 72 set and if I find that they are as glorious as many people claim, a second and third set will be quick to follow.
